I’ve been meaning to share this with all of you, and Bart’s post about our written and spoken thoughts occasionally loosing their meaning in translation prompted me to do so. If you need a little vacation from the reality documentaries, you might find this movie fascinating as much as I did (plus I adore Amy Adams). It’s basically my favorite movie (along with the Interstellar). Growing with Spielberg’s outstanding depiction of the unseen and misunderstood reality, I watched how our perspective matured, and Arrival speaks volumes (no pun intended 😆). If you like movies such as Interstellar, you might like the Arrival. My gift is visual arts and it comes with a strength of non-verbal intelligence, causing my verbal expression to be at times excruciating. This move wonderfully depicts the various ways the Universe can convey information and understanding of time. It came out a while back, but I come back to it occasionally when I need a small escape from the reality. I don’t get hung up on the fear, but the beauty and complexity of the connection of the characters and the ET’s.
